The one thing that stands out for me regarding Goring is that he was faithful to his wife. A man in his position could have womanized until the cows came home, and he didn't. He had a moral code that he lived by, and it's impressive.

The Commissar Order of June 6, 1941 is probably the best-known order. The commissar directives obliged the German Eastern Army to segregate all captured political officers of the Red Army while still at the front and execute them on the spot.

War jurisdiction decree

The so-called War Jurisdiction Decree of May 13, 1941, however, was a free pass for all members of the German armed forces to slaughter the Soviet population

According to statistics, during the war in the USSR, 1,710 cities and towns, more than 70,000 villages and villages, and over 6 million buildings were completely or partially destroyed and burned. About 25 million people lost their homes, the Nazis destroyed 31.8 thousand industrial enterprises. long time ago worked with an old man who was there he said when the germans came they said do nothing and we will not hurt you when the russians came later they raped all the women and stole everything
