Thanks for letting us meet with you, it is a pleasure. Can I ask you how you came to join the SS?

Karl: Yes, it is simple; I was a party man here in Austria when it was not easy to be. There was a lot of trouble for us made by the communists, Jews, and other democrats. I had heard the Führer speak once…
